Sweaty Spinning Class
Since I can never get into Refine anymore (cough cough), I took a spin class at the gym. I snagged the second to last bike and was shocked it was so full 15 minutes before the class started. But then I realized why, Josh Adler. The best spinning instructor (imo) at NYHRC was teaching. It was a killer class, 20 intervals, 10 sprint, 10 climb, lots of sweat. 45 minutes later I was a hot mess! Fortunately, I was wearing my I <3 Sweat shirt!
NasVegas Here I Come
No, I am not running the Nashville Marathon! Frank’s sisters wedding is in Nashville this weekend and we are both in. Let me tell you, I need an escape, so I am so excited for the wedding and the long weekend! It seems like we travel a fair amount, but honestly, it’s almost always weddings! This should be a very special one! I haven’t been to Nashville since I was 12, but I remember saying that I would get married in the Oprey Land Hotel! Oh young Mel!
Blogging on a Mac!
So, here’s a confession, I have a shiny, sleek new Mac, and yet I still blog on my old, can’t unplug or it will die PC. I just love windows live writer so much. I have done a fair amount of research in the past few months, and there are a bunch of mac blogging options, mars edit, etco, blogo, mac journal, fluid. While I decide what’s right for me, I am using Qumana. I figure that I might was well try the free option before I pay for something. Although I think I will eventually want something that allows me to edit photos. Bethenny Ever After
Last night’s episode was like whoa. I’ll say this, overall, I find this season a million times funnier than last season, but so much sadder. I hate to see them go at each other like that. I just want them to get over all the drama and be happy that they have so much and such a precious child! I know that no relationships are perfect and that everyone fights, but I really hope to never be in a place where I am that unhappy. Any other fans of B out there? I hope that a lot of this is blown up by the editing!
The other sad thing about the episode was that they were wasting a vacay at the One and Only! Frank and I kind of accidently had dinner at the One and Only in Nassau, and holy crap, it was probably the most beautiful hotel we had ever been too. However, one night costs nearly 3 times the monthly rent of my first NYC apartment! Needless to say, we won’t be going anytime soon…although the Physique 57 retreats at the O&O do seem worthy of my life’s savings…

I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I did 24×24 for Foodbuzz! I can’t wait to see what people did this month. I am so glad I did 24 x24, it really reconnected me to foodbuzz and I am find myself persuing the recipes far more often.
